What's typical for Metal Saturday
Metal Saturday is the broader of the two metal lists: AC/DC, Sabaton, Metallica, In Flames, Ghost and Amon Amarth are the most common artists, and the pool stretches from Black Sabbath in the 1970s to Ghost today. Around one in four songs is Swedish – Sweden is a metal superpower, and it shows in the list.
The level is Medium: the classics and arena riffs are there, but so are tracks that require having owned the record. Fox Ear plays from the start of the song, and in metal that often means a riff rather than a vocal – whoever knows their riffs wins.
Good for the metal crew on a Saturday night, exactly as the name says. Heavy Metal is the heavier, more extreme sister list; The Rock Expert the softer one.
