What's typical for The Music Nerd
The Music Nerd is the biggest list, with thousands of songs from 1970 onwards, and the only one that deliberately skips the obvious hits. The song examples above therefore show the list's lesser-known end, not its biggest artists. Kent, Ghost, In Flames, Europe, Sabaton and ABBA are all in there, but it's their track three and track seven that get played, not the singles.
The level is Hard. Rounds are drawn from songs with lower recognition in the hit catalogue, so a round with three correct out of ten can be a good result. Fox Ear's scoring rewards guessing in a few seconds, and here those seconds are what separates the real nerds.
Good for quiz foxes, aspiring music journalists, and groups for whom Friday Party got too easy. Don't play it as the first list with a new group – it'll scare off the people who are there to sing along.
