What's typical for Swedish Hits

Swedish Hits is entirely Swedish: every song in the pool is Swedish, from ABBA in the 1970s to Zara Larsson in the 2020s. ABBA is the biggest artist, followed by Kent, Roxette, Europe and Robyn – so both what sold abroad and what only lives in Swedish bones. The 2010s is the heaviest decade, but every decade since 1970 has over a hundred songs.

The level is Easy, with one caveat: anyone who didn't grow up with Swedish radio will find it harder than Friday Party. That's a strength in a Swedish group, and something to know if your guests come from elsewhere.

Good for when you want a music quiz you can also sing along to. Melodifestivalen is included, but schlager has its own dedicated list if that's what you're after.
